From Främby Udde, at the outskirts of Falun, the views and sceneries are spectacular. We offer both camping and personal cottages for rent – and we are now expanding with new, up to date, modern and well equipped cottages. The overall quality is superb, but kept within the regions traditional, rustic style.

The cottages are from 25 to 53 square meters in size, well laid out and equipped with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and also a dedicated storing space. The cottages are fully furnished and fully equipped.

Falun is the province capital of Dalarna, and its city center is only 4.5 kilometers from our cottage village! There you can certainly stimulate all your senses; culture, sports, entertainment etc. Visit World Heritage Falun, with the famous Copper mine, or take a guided tour of the home of famous painter Carl Larsson. Guides will also help you find those “special coves” around the lake Runn archipelago.
